Vermland Apartment

A COLLABORATIVE VISION

Located in the lively Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, the Handcrafted cph Apartment serves as both an inspiring creative studio and a cozy living space. Its interior showcases a thoughtful mix of signature designs and distinctive vintage pieces, blending seamlessly to create a warm and inviting environment that truly feels like home.
The concept for this apartment emerged through a collaborative creative exchange between Anders Forup, founder of Handcraftedcph Living, designer Kasper Thorup of Thorup Copenhagen, and Anton Bak from Vermland.

Central to the project was a shared belief in the power of carefully crafted furnishings to shape a dynamic, evolving space that captures the essence of home. Instead of creating a fixed environment, the team focused on the interplay between work and living areas, highlighting adaptability, comfort, and individuality. Every element, from the arrangement of bespoke furniture to the selection of curated vintage accents, was thoughtfully placed to foster a space that is both practical and personal.

BLENDING DESIGN WITH PURPOSE & FUNCTION

Every detail in the apartment, including the Vermland wardrobe made of oak and assembled with stainless steel elements, was thoughtfully chosen. Its solid oak frame fronts with fluted glass bring a clean and sophisticated touch, perfectly balancing warmth and functionality within the evolving space.

HERITAGE MEETS CONTEMPORARY

The kitchen showcases blue-painted Vermland oak cabinets paired with silver travertine countertops and refined stainless steel accents, creating a harmonious mix of timeless charm and contemporary elegance within the carefully designed space.
