VERMLAND EXHIBITION KITCHEN
Within the elegant surroundings of The Jewellery Room, Vermland’s exhibition kitchen takes shape at Bredgade 35 in central Copenhagen. The showroom forms part of one of Copenhagen’s most established districts, known for its historic architecture, cultural institutions and a strong presence of art, design and craftsmanship.
The exhibition kitchen is designed as a natural extension of the space. A place where materiality and function come together. Crafted in fumed oak, the cabinetry reveals a deep, rich tone that highlights the wood’s natural grain and texture, lending warmth and character to the room. The oak is paired with a 5 mm steel worktop. A backsplash in brown silver travertine adds further depth to the composition. The stone’s subtle shifts in colour and structure create a calm yet tactile backdrop, reinforcing the kitchen’s connection to natural materials and timeless design principles.
CURATED INTERIOR AND STYLING
The interior and styling of the space are curated by Kristina Dam Studio, whose sculptural approach to design is evident throughout the showroom. Her oak display cabinet serves as a focal point, uniting the space through a shared material language and reinforcing the Nordic and natural expression that defines the overall interior.
SCANDINAVIAN AESTHETIC
Rooted in a restrained Scandinavian aesthetic, the kitchen is defined by clarity, proportion and honesty in materials. The cabinetry is finished with VALE handles by Brandt Copenhagen, whose minimal and refined design supports the overall expression without drawing attention away from the materials themselves.
The Vermland exhibition kitchen can be experienced during the store’s opening hours at The Jewellery Room, offering visitors an intimate encounter with contemporary kitchen design in the context of Copenhagen’s inner city.
